Coaching that helps before check-in day

Your weekly check-in is still one of the most important parts of Carbon.

But the days leading up to your check-in matter too.

The updated Coach tab now gives you more useful guidance throughout the week, helping you understand where to focus before your next check-in. That might mean keeping protein consistent, bringing calories closer to target, filling in missing tracking data, or simply staying the course when things are already lining up.

Instead of only reviewing what happened after the week is over, Carbon helps you make better decisions while the week is still happening.

That’s what real coaching should do.

Your week, easier to understand

The Coach tab now gives you a clearer view of your current tracking period.

New rings and visuals make it easier to see your daily macro progress and weigh-ins in one place. You can quickly tell which days are complete, where something may be missing, and what your Coach will be able to use at check-in.

And if you missed something, you can tap into that day to add meals or weight values before checking in.

That may sound small, but it matters.

Carbon’s coaching is only as good as the data it has to review. The easier it is to spot gaps before check-in, the easier it is for your Coach to make the right decision.

Check-in has also been redesigned to feel more clear and intentional.

Before submitting, Carbon walks you through the key information your Coach will review, including your tracking consistency, average calories, macros, and weight data.

You’ll also be asked whether you tracked everything you ate during the week.

That context matters. When your week is fully tracked, Carbon can confidently review your progress and adjust your plan when needed. When it isn’t, Carbon won’t change your targets based on incomplete data — helping protect your plan from reacting to a partial picture.

This is not about perfection.

It’s about making sure your Coach has the right information, so your plan stays aligned with your goal.

A check-in report that explains the “why”

This is the biggest shift in the experience.

After check-in, Carbon now gives you a clearer report showing what your Coach reviewed, what decision was made, and why.

If your macros change, you’ll see the reason behind the adjustment.

If your macros stay the same, you’ll understand why that may be the right move.

That second part is important. A good coach does not change your plan just to make it feel like something happened. Sometimes your calories, rate of progress, and goal are already lining up — and the best decision is to stay consistent.
