1) What change were you wanting to make when you started Carbon?

I had reached a point in my 50s where I was tired of the constant cycle of losing and regaining weight. For more than 20 years, I wanted to shed the extra pounds and finally feel in control of my health. Before starting Carbon, I was already lifting weights a few times a week and making an effort to eat more protein. Those were positive steps, but I knew deep down I needed a system that could help me lose weight consistently, not just in short bursts. My ultimate goal was to break free from the endless plateau and regain cycle and find a sustainable way to manage my body weight for life.

2) What struggles did you encounter as you were working through those changes?

The hardest part was accuracy. I thought I was tracking my food well enough, but when progress slowed, I realized I was still relying on guesswork. I would lose 10 to 15 pounds, then get stuck, frustrated, and inevitably gain it all back. It was discouraging because I felt like I was putting in the effort without getting lasting results. Even with resistance training and protein intake, my results were inconsistent, and that inconsistency made it difficult to stay motivated over the long term.

3) What was different about Carbon?
