"I cannot see myself using another app for tracking my food!"

1) What change were you wanting to make when you started Carbon?

I started a 6-week fitness challenge at my CrossFit gym. It was who can lose the most weight but also maintain strength and conditioning. I was already training hard, but I was eating like trash. I hopped on Carbon Diet Coach and started a cut. Through 6 weeks of the carbon diet coach calculating and adjusting my calories daily and weekly, I lost 22.2 pounds. Not only did I lose that weight, but I got stronger in the lift test, and faster in the conditioning test! I also qualified in the elite division for the 1st Phorm Monster Games in July. I never felt hungry, okay well maybe a couple times! Overall, the experience was easy going and carbon makes it that way.

2) What struggles did you encounter as you were working through those changes?

I would say a handful of times I was hungry at night, but that is normal on a cut. I chose the correct high-density foods throughout the cut. I filled out my rings and followed the AI coach through my day and my struggles were held at a minimum. Some days I felt bloated or stuffed up and became worried, but data is data, and I kept pushing. Obviously, it paid off.

3) What was different about Carbon?

The app is clean. It is easy to use, and it is affordable. The AI coach is very quick to adjust to any changes that happen. I love the community aspect of it as well. It seems like every day on social media, I see a super helpful piece of information from Layne. I can’t think of a single negative to using this app!

4) Tell us about the moment you realized Carbon was fundamental in solving your problem.

Having the accountability for sure and being able to celebrate when the check in day comes around. Being able to check that I was compliant, and the weight being lost was on track, it gave me confidence by the day. I cannot see myself using another app for tracking my food!

5) Tell us what life looks like now that you are finding success with Carbon.

I started the cut at 188.4 pounds and finished at 166.2 pounds. Now the goal is to bulk back up, but slowly and methodically. I am currently using carbon to bulk up to 185-195 pounds, but I want to keep my leanness as much as I can. My weekly goal is to gain .3-.4 pounds. My calories seem correct right away, it has been 4 days since starting my bulk, and I am excited to plug in all my food! Time to get STRONG!
